Quality of Care
Technology has allowed the creation of tools and means through which care providers can deliver better care to patients and through which patients can have access to care seamlessly, anywhere. Technology has also given us the ability to measure and track the quality of care and care delivery methods, and by doing so improve outcomes.
Multitude of Methods
Cognizance Technologies (CT), through its expertise and the solutions it has developed, provides multitude of methods to its partners and clients to measure and track health quality through six domains. They include safety of care, effectiveness of care through the use of scientific knowledge, patient-centered care, timely delivery of care, efficient delivery of care and efficiency of delivering care, and equitability of care.
Our longstanding relationship with agencies such as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given us many opportunities to contribute to efforts to improve quality of health and quality of care.
CT provides solutions to help with regulatory compliance and fraud prevention by being an integral part of the Advance Provider Screening (APS) and the Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) programs at CMS. CT delivers technology solutions to measure, validate, interpret, and respond to data related to infections and/or toxic substances and to provide methods of awareness for the public (EHPM) at CDC.
